What the weekend includes

The Bradenton Area River Regatta is a two-day, free spectator festival celebrating high-speed powerboat racing, riverfront entertainment, and community festivities along the scenic Manatee River. Held annually in downtown Bradenton and Palmetto, the event transforms the riverfront into a full weekend of live music, food vendors, family activities, and a major on-water racing program that draws visitors from across Florida and beyond.

The festival begins on Friday, February 20, 2026 with the fan-favorite Friday Night Flash, featuring live musical performances followed by a drone light show and fireworks finale over the Manatee River. On Saturday, February 21, 2026, the Regatta expands into a full day of racing action, food and beverage vendors, interactive exhibits, and family-friendly entertainment along the Bradenton Riverwalk and the Palmetto riverfront.

First launched more than a decade ago, the Bradenton Area River Regatta has grown into Manatee County’s largest free spectator event, welcoming crowds that routinely exceed 100,000 attendees over the course of the weekend.
